What a weekend!

Friday
I had my dr's appointment. Everything was fine till they took my blood pressure. It was 187 over 95. They said that was way too high and sent me to Triage in labor & delivery to be monitored. I was hooked up to the blood pressure machine, which came on every 20 minutes, a baby heartbeat monitor and a contraction monitor. His heartbeat was fine and I was having no contractions. As soon as they hooked me up to the machine my blood pressure was 122 over 65. It stayed in that range the whole two hours I was stuck there. The only time my blood pressure is ever that high is in the doctor's office. I think it's their machine. I take my blood pressure at home, at the store, in Triage, it's perfectly normal. But in the doc's office it's sky high! The nurse said I was fine to go home, but my Dr wanted me to do the 24 pee test. I had to collect my pee for a whole day in this huge orange jug, keep it in the fridge and bring it back to them on Monday.

So far during this pregnancy i've had to take my blood sugar 6 times a day and give myself 2 insulin shots a day. But the biggest pain in the ass so far has been having to collect my pee every time I go for one whole day. We couldn't leave the house because the pee had to stay cold in the fridge. If we just so happened to be out somewhere and I had to pee, I wouldn't be able to "save it" lol. The whole reason for the pee test was to check for Preeclampsia or whatever.

After the Dr's appointment we went home. I was kind of stressed out about the pee test and being sent to Triage. So we got in the pool and floated around for a bit. When we got out we decided to go grocery shopping. Mason was in the shower and I was getting dressed in the bedroom when I heard a knock on the door. My dad always knocks a certain way, and that was how the knock on the door sounded. So instead of looking through the peephole, I just opened the door expecting for it to be my dad. Instead it was some scrawny young guy in a suit that was 5x to big for him. He handed me a bottle of Joy dish soap and said they had opened a new shop around the corner and they were giving away one of their products free in hopes people would start coming to their store. I was like "Ok sure whatever, thanks, bye" and then he asked if I was busy. I told him my husband and I are about to leave to go grocery shopping. He said "Hold on!" and ran down our drive way. I closed the door and went back into the bedroom where Mason was getting dressed. I told him what the guy had said. Mason walked out of the bedroom and then I heard a knock on the door again. Then I heard Mason open it, then there was a lot of noise from the livingroom. I go out and this dingdong kid was back, dragging a bunch of boxes into our house! It was a freakin Kirby Vaccume sales guy. He put the vaccume together and proceeded to show us how it worked. He cleaned our area rug in the livingroom, the couch, the tv our surround-sound speakers, the hallway carpet and our bed and pillows. So I told DH we should just let him do his thing and I wont have to clean for a while. Unfortunately, him "doing his thing" took till 11:30pm (he got there around 5:30pm). We kept asking him how much longer this would take because we had stuff to do and we were getting hungry and it was getting late. It was always "just a few more minutes, let me just show you this!" When he was finally done, we asked how much his stupid vaccume was. In all honesty, it was a pretty awesome vaccume. But when he showed us the price, $2,000, we said "NO THANKS!" and holy crap did he get pissed! He started taking it apart to packup and leave and he was throwing parts around on the floor and he wouldn't say another word to us. Then he called his boss or someone to come pick him up from our house and no one would answer his call. So he sat down on the couch and said he'd have to wait. Mason said he had to get out or there would be "problems" so we sent him packing, hahahaha! He had to walk to where-ever his boss was. Boohoo for him. And damn you Mason for letting this dingdong in the house!!

Saturday
Not much happened. I cleaned the house (with MY vaccume, not some stupid Kirby), did laundry, did a little more organizing in the baby's room. I called my friend/owner of the tanning salon I work at. It turns out she found a buyer for the salon. The problem is they want to close the salon here and move it to Orlando. So our closing day is May 15th. I'm really upset that the salon will be closing. I LOVE my job, I love all the clients we have. Who wouldn't want to get paid for having a job they actually enjoy? But honestly i'm looking forward to not having to go to work for a while. The 15th was around the time I was probably going to stop working anyway to get everything prepared for the arrival of Lil Scooter. I'm really looking forward to having a few weeks at home by myself before the baby arrives. :) I'm happy she found a buyer for the salon and her financial issues will be taken care of, it just sucks because now i'll no longer have a job I love. And now that ruins my chances of buying the salon. Oh well, it just wasn't meant to be I guess.

Sunday
We went to my parents house for Easter lunch. I always like to take pics on the holidays but since we moved, my battery charger for my digicam has gone MIA. So I used my dad's camera. :-D

I look freakin HUGE!!!!! Mason said with that shirt on my belly looked like a giant easter egg lol!

Mason and I. He closed his eyes when my dad took the pic...grr...

TODAY!
I dropped off my pee jug at 9am this morning. They sent me to the nurse's station to have blood drawn too. I told the lady I always have my blood taken from my hand. She said she was going to try to take it from my arm. Good luck lady... She tried her hardest, but couldn't get a drop. So from the hand it was. I tried to tell her, lol! I'll get the results from the pee test and blood draw on Wednesday.
Friday I have another appointment, this one includes an ultrasound!!! I can't wait!!!
